Access Imaging Resources now offers a 3 hour Radiation Safety class on CD to physicians who will be operating radiation emitting diagnostic equipment. As a condition of accreditation through the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Computed Tomography Laboratories, physicians who plan to read their own studies must show documentation of 3 hours of physicist taught radiation safety. In addition, the physician must score 100% on the post test provided by this course.

The 3-part course is an audio and visual PowerPoint presentation that is self-running, meaning PowerPoint software is not required for viewing. Once the test is completed, simply fax the test to our independent test reviewers for grading. Once a passing grade of 100% is achieved, the physicist will send a certificate to the physician for accreditation submission.

This course is ideal for physicians who lack the time to travel to a seminar or classroom taught courses. The course is self paced so that you can do as little or as much as time allows. This course will more than pay for itself in travel costs and downtime from the office.
